Sathodi Falls located in Kallaramane Ghats is a waterfall formed by a few unnamed streams falling down from a height of 15 metres into the backwaters of Kodasalli Dam to later merge with River Kali. This scenic waterfall is active throughout the year, plunging relentlessly into the river. However, it is also a safe spot for a dip. Located within a reasonable distance from Dandeli and other major towns, this place is a visual feast one shall not miss.
Located within the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary (aslo Kali Tiger Reserve), Syntheri Rocks is named so after an English lady (Cintheri) who discovered them. Syntheri Rocks houses majestic rocks of limestone believed to be formed due to volcanic eruptions. This tourist attraction with its idyllic ambience and absolutely photogenic panorama, is the core of Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary tour.
Vajrapoha Falls, popularly called the Vajra Falls, is formed due to plunging of the mighty River Mandovi in the Bhimgad Wildlife Sanctuary area in Jamboti. Best visited during the monsoons, this falls is located at a distance requiring about 90 minutes of journey from Dandeli. The surroundings offer a view of lush greenery and clear skies, making it ideal for a getaway with family/loved ones.
